| The Snowy Mountains and Anglers
Reach are located in the south-eastern corner of New South Wales and are easily accessible
by car. From Sydney ... it is an easy drive down
the Hume Expressway. Eight kms past the south Goulburn exit, turn left for Canberra/Cooma
and follow the signs to Cooma. Travel through Cooma for approx 6km then turn right and
follow the Snowy Mountains Highway to Adaminaby. After Adaminaby, continue along the Snowy
Mountains Highway for approx. 2km then turn left and follow the Anglers Reach signs
thereafter.
From Melbourne ... take the Hume Highway
to Albury/Wodonga. You can then leave Wodonga on the Murray Valley Highway for Tallangatta
amd Corryong. After leaving Corryong, take the Tumbarumba road as far as the Elliot Way
intersection and turn right for Tumut 2 Power Station, Kiandra and Adaminaby. Shortly
before reaching Adaminaby, take the right turn at the Anglers Reach sign on the Snowy
Mountains Highway. Thereafter, just follow the signs to Anglers Reach Caravan Park. |
